Over the past five years, my 2003 F150 needed a few repairs, which Dealer Alternative took care of. Repairs were always a fair price and timely completed . Recently, our truck needed a head gasket replaced, which required the removal of the engine, an expensive repair. Jay gave me several options to address the issue, from not doing anything and simply monitoring the coolant, to replacing the head gaskets. After discussing the age of the engine and potential for other costly repairs, I elected to get a complete rebuild. Not he cheapest option, but we like our truck and It's a heck of lot cheaper than a new or used pickup. The first long block did not meet the mechanic's standards, they rejected it and requested a new one. Although it delayed completion, I was more concerned with a quality repair and more than willing to wait. I also appreciated Jay's communication.
